Front Cover Photography

From my rough cut feedback I was suggested to include some more smaller images on my front cover. I had previously took these two images on an SLR camera at concerts where these artists were playing. These images will be placed at the bottom of the page next to the 'free posters' graphics.

Model: Adam Smith

This image was taken to be used on my front cover as a small image at the bottom of the page. The photo was taken at this artist's bands' gig and the genre of the band was rock which relates to the genre of my magazine. You can tell the genre of the artist by the tattoos, hair and costume. I took a low angle medium close up shot of the model which makes the model look dominant and shows the costume the model is wearing. The pose the model is doing shows that he is confident and passionate about his music. There is a slight low depth of field in this photo so another one of the band members is in the background but displayed darker so most attention is focused on the model.

This image was taken to be used on my front cover as a small image at the bottom of the page. The photo was taken at this artist's bands' gig and the genre of the band was rock which relates to the genre of my magazine. You can tell the genre of the artist by the hair, costume and guitar. I took a slight high angel full body shot so the model looks more dominant and shows the full costume which the model is wearing. However, the model is not looking at the camera so this could show that he is quite shy and not confident which relates to the independent genre. The stereo and lights in the background are clear so there is a low depth of field and the stereo's show that the image is to do with music and the lights show the fun side to the genre.
