Double Page Spread Photography

From my rough cut feedback I was suggested to include some polaroid images on my double page spread. These are taken from the same model as the model for the main image on the double page spread. These images will be placed at the bottom of the page.

Model: Nora Amir
This image was taken to be used on my double page spread as a small polaroid image at the bottom of the page. In this photo the model is looking away from the camera so this could show that she is shy, however this could be misleading as the pose the model is doing shows that she is confident relating to the passion for rock music. I told the model to look down so the dark eye make up was visible and clear which I put on the model as a lot of female rock artists have dark eye make up. The dark costume of the model also relates to the rock genre. I took a slight low angle close up shot of the model to make her look dominant.

This image was taken to be used on my double page spread as a small polaroid image at the bottom of the page. I took a low angle medium close up shot with the model looking down at the camera. This makes the model look very confident which is also suggested by the serious confident facial expression. I also made the model do this pose so that the dark eye make up was clearly seen representing the rock genre of music of the artist. The light from the three light set up system in the photography studio shines mainly on the models face as this is positioned in line with the face which emphasises the face more than the rest of the body which dressed in black and dull colours relating the rock genre.

This image was taken to be used on my double page spread as a small polaroid image at the bottom of the page. This shot was taken using the rule of thirds so the model's eye line is approximately in line with the readers eye line so the reader can engage with this image. The pose of the model with her hands on her head shows that she is confident representing her confidence and passion in music. The facial expression of the model in this image shows a serious face but also with a slight smirk so could represent the artist as being serious and passionate about her music but also enjoying her music lifestyle so the smirk shows her happiness with her success. The dark eye make up matches with the dark costume and the brown eyes matches with the brown hair. Both these colours are dark with represent the dark rock genre of music.
