This shows all the text improvements I have made on my double page spread which I was suggested to make from my rough cut feedback. It was suggested that I should include a banner across the top of the left hand page. Therefore I included a black banner across the top which made the magazine look more professional and the black banner and white text match the colour scheme of my magazine. As I made a black banner, I had to change the 'Reckless!' text to white so it would be visible. It was suggested that I should make the background of the right hand side page black and change the text which was formally black to white so it would be visible on the page so I did that which I think made it look more like a rock magazine double page spread as the whole page was darker. It was suggested that I should break the text up with a quote insert across the article. As my article content had already taken up all three columns, I moved it up slightly to leave room for the quote insert which I placed approximately in the middle of the article in a larger bolder font.
This shows my final double page spread after all improvements had been made. It was suggested that I should include some more smaller polaroid images layered over my main image at the bottom of the page. Usually in this genre of magazine, more than one image is included in an article so I included three more which also made the page look more crowded rather than bare which is an important featured for pages in this magazine genre.
