Front Cover Improvements

This shows all the text improvements I have made on my front cover which I was suggested to make from my rough cut feedback. It was suggested that I should sort the white space out at the top of the page. Therefore I moved my skyline up to the top so there was no white space. It was suggested that I should make my masthead stand out more. The text was already at the largest font it could reach so I made the text longer to make it stand out more. It was suggested that I should move my main sell line further down the page and display it against a banner so I did this and put the text against a black banner which made it stand out more. It was suggested that I should move my sell lines above the main sell line and down the sides so I did this but made sure the sell lines weren't covering the model's faces. This has made my front cover look more tidy and arranged as everything is spread out more.

This shows my final front cover after all improvements had been made. It was suggested that I should include some more images on my front cover as usually with this genre of magazine there are smaller images displayed on the front cover as well as the main image. Therefore I placed images which I'd already taken before at the bottom of the page against a black background with tag lines underneath the photos. I had planned to do this on my flat plan but when I was producing my rough cut I felt that there was not enough room to include smaller images but now that I moved the sell lines up I felt there was now enough room.
